Visalia, CA – The International Agri-Center® and World Ag Expo® presented a check in the amount of $45,000 to Valley Children’s Hospital during the hospital’s All Guild Picnic at Koetsier Ranch on May 25, 2016, in Visalia, California.
The check represented the total funds raised by the Guilds of Valley Children’s Hospital, who participated in World Ag Expo’s® Toyota Tundra Giveaway by selling chances to win a new 2016 Tundra. The proceeds from the giveaway will directly benefit the Central California hospital.
“Valley Children’s was founded on the inspiring vision to provide a hospital where every child in our Valley can receive specialized medical care,” said Teresa Fierro, Guild Manager at Valley Children’s. “We are thankful for the generous spirit of philanthropy from the International Agri-Center, World Ag Expo, Toyota and the people of our community who continue to enable Valley Children’s to provide the best care for our kids.”
The Tundra truck, won by Eddie Castillo of Fresno on the final day of World Ag Expo®, was donated by the Northern California Toyota Dealers’ Association, through their role as the “Official Truck of World Ag Expo®”.
“This is a great partnership between World Ag Expo, Toyota and Valley Children’s Hospital,” said Jerry Sinift, Chief Executive Officer, International Agri-Center®. “We love working with Valley Children’s Hospital and relish the opportunity to support their cause through the programs at World Ag Expo.”
